HOW IT WORKS
Mag Marine was born from the idea of combining functionality with aesthetics to offer a unique and innovative solution. Our magnetic system is designed and built to allow you to enjoy a worry-free dining experience: plates and glasses remain firmly in place even during the movement of the boat.
The Mag Marine system is currently in the patent approval process.
THE PLACEMAT: ADHERENCE and stability
The heart of the Mag Marine system is its placemat, with a sandwich structure that includes a metal sheet to allow the magnets of the dishes to adhere perfectly. The cotton surface, treated stain-resistant and easy to clean, is combined with a lower layer of non-slip cork, which guarantees stability on the table even with the movement of the boat.
THE MAGNETIC SYSTEM: PERFECT BALANCE
The secret of Mag Marine is in the perfect calibration of the magnetic system. On the bottom of each dish is integrated a magnet calibrated to adhere firmly to the placemat, keeping plates and glasses still without compromising the ease of lifting. Mag Marine products are designed and made in Italy.
PROTECTION AND DURABILITY OVER TIME
To ensure maximum resistance, the magnets of the plates and glasses are sealed inside a thin layer of protective resin. This treatment makes them waterproof and safe over time. The entire system was developed in collaboration with the Engineering Department of the University of Parma.
